The Content of the Home Inspection

The six areas of concern are:

      • SITE
      • FOUNDATION
      • ROUGH FRAMING/CARPENTRY
      • HEATING
      • PLUMBING
      • ELECTRICAL

In addition, we inspect carefully:

    • ROOF
    • BRICK AND/OR SIDING
    • GUTTERS AND DOWNSPOUTS
    • DOORS AND WINDOWS

We review and evaluate all of the “finish” trades:

    • DRYWALL, PLASTER, PAINT
    • FINISH MECHANICALS (PLUMBING, HEAT AND ELECTRICAL)
    • TRIM CARPENTRY (INTERIOR DOORS, HARDWARE, ETC.)
    • CABINETS AND COUNTERTOPS
    • TILE WORK AND FINISHED FLOORS

For no additional charge, we look at the appendages and/or any typical “outbuildings”:

    • GARAGES (ATTACHED OR DETACHED)
    • STORAGE SHEDS
    • PORCH ENCLOSURES, ETC.
